The pCPA is excited to announce our deputy CEO, Dominic Tan, has been appointed co-chair of the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Roundtable for the North American branch of the Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR). He’ll also serve as a member of the ISPOR HTA Council. His 3-year term began January 1, 2026.
In these roles, he’ll collaborate with ISPOR colleagues on scientific and health policy initiatives, contribute to regional strategy development, and help advance key HTA initiatives.
Dominic’s years of experience working in the drug reimbursement system and familiarity with HTA policy will allow him to provide guidance for the roundtable and support the council’s mission.
Founded in 1995, ISPOR’s mission is to “advance health economic and outcomes research excellence to improve decision making for health globally.” ISPOR has members in more than 100 countries, bringing together a diverse base that includes researchers, academics, regulators, policymakers, patient engagement organizations, and other health economic experts.
