The pCPA’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the release of our 2024–25 impact report.
The report’s title, New frontiers, reflects the opportunities of an ever-evolving sector, as well as our success in finding new ways to be responsive and to excel in our work.
The report highlights significant achievements, including the estimated savings for public drug plans, calculated at $4.9 billion. This is an increase from an estimated total of $4.6 billion in 2023–24. Overall savings for public drug plans since 2010 are estimated at $28.8 billion. These numbers reflect money governments can reinvest into systems and programs for people in Canada.
The report shows that overall, the pCPA’s productivity related to negotiations has continued to thrive. Negotiations increased by 35% over the last fiscal year and at the same time, we’ve increased the number of agreements by 27%.
